PA Native Plant Society
The Pennsylvania Native Plant Society is a Pennsylvania Non-Profit Corporation which advocates conservation of native plants and their habitats and promotes the increased use of native plans in the landscape.
Within the PA Native Plant Society is the Rare Plant Committee, an organization originally created of purely botanists whose job it was to "facilitate continuous management of data on the Pennsylvania flora and its rare, threatened, and endangered components."
Today, the organization is primarily a native plant organization with membership fully open to the public.
